Port Moody

This was a side-sloping, mostly unusable backyard with a tired lawn and a patchy cedar hedge. The home-owners requested more outdoor living space to accomodate a hot-tub as well as increased privacy and lower maintenance, all encompassed within a contemporary design. A large cedar deck was built, tall privacy fences and screens went in, and the yard was terraced to create a large flat lawn and planting beds. Underground irrigation and easy care plantings reduces maintence, and outdoor lighting allows more use of the space.
